AR Store
 
The AR (accelerated reader) store will be held in the library on May 22 and 23.  Students who participated in AR this year may choose prizes based on the points they have earned.  Monday, May 21st is the last day for AR points to count toward the store.  For questions about AR or the AR store, contact Thuy Howeth at thuyhoweth74@gmail.com. 
 
Ridglea Hills Field Day 
 
Field day will be on Friday, May 24th.  Check back soon for details, but in the mean time, be sure to order your field day shirt by May 10th.
   

Take a Tour 

 

Whether you have an upcoming elementary student or are looking to move into the area, we would love to give you more information on Ridglea Hills Elementary and show you why it's great to be a RH Mustang. A guided tour of the school is available, by appointment, on the second Monday of each month at 9:45 a.m. To schedule a tour, please contact Angela Houston at angela@nuzao.com or 817-266-3086.   

 

In the Know

New Security Policies at Ridglea Hills 
 
Ridglea Hills is working to make our school as safe as possible for your children.  The following new safety measures have been put into place: 
  • All visitors must check in at the office upon arrival at school.  Visitors must show a picture ID and the office staff will sign the visitor in.
  • During the school day 8:00-3:00 students will be brought to the office for early dismissals rather than parents taking the early dismissal slip down to the classroom.  Forgotten lunches and school items will be taken to the classroom by school personnel.
  • After 8:00 students will get a tardy pass in the foyer and walk themselves to class.
  • We absolutely encourage parents to continue to volunteer in the classrooms during the school day, but they must sign in at the office and receive a volunteer badge.
  • All our staff has been trained to direct all visitors to the office for a visitor’s sticker.

Ridglea Hills Cookbook
 
The Ridglea Hills digital cookbook is now for sale.  Your $20 purchase helps support our school and buys some tasty new recipes to try.  Cookbook recipes were submitted by Ridglea Hills families and staff members.
