  • The theme of this year’s fair is “Conflict and Compromise.” Students may choose a topic that is either about conflict or compromise; it doesn’t have to be about both.

Reminder: Mustang Roundup This Friday, Jan. 26
Mustang Roundup is coming up at 10 a.m. this Friday, Jan. 26, and we are excited to round up a whole new group of Mustangs for the 2018-2019 year!
  • This event is for ALL incoming students, Pre-K through 5th grade, to be welcomed to our campus!
  • Please share with your fellow Ridglea neighbors who might be bringing a child into our school for the first time.
  • If you would be willing to assist that day with check-in/tours, please email Stephanie Robinson at smrobins12@gmail.com.

Hot Dog Supper is Friday, Feb. 9!
RHE’s Hot Dog Supper is an annual spring fundraiser hosted by the RHPTA. Hot Dog Supper features raffle item baskets as well as a chance to sign up for parent-sponsored parties for your kids to attend. It’s a fun evening for the whole family!
  • This year's Hot Dog Supper is set for Friday, Feb. 9, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Meal tickets and raffle tickets will be available for purchase online soon. You will also be able to purchase tickets at school – watch for that information in the near future.
Kid Parties
  • Kid Parties are for any grade, can be grade specific, girl only, boy only, or co-ed. Kid Party themes include swimming, soccer, ice cream in the park and movie night. Parties do not need to be expensive – simple is better! Get creative!
  • We are in need of Kid Party hosts. When you host a Kid Party, you are responsible for the cost, details, theme, location, and spots for the party are sold at Hot Dog Supper, which raises money for the PTA.
  • To view and download the form to sponsor a Kid Party, click here. Complete the form and return via email to christa@leaguere.com no later than Thursday, Feb. 1.
Raffle Baskets
  • Classes sponsor different themed baskets that are then raffled off at Hot Dog Supper. These baskets are a great way to raise money and are very popular!

KidsFit Competition & Fundraiser Sponsored by Fuzzy’s Benefiting RHPTA Starts Continues!
  • The culinary students at South Hills High School working with Medical City Children's Hospital have created “KidsFit” menu items that Fuzzy's has placed on their menu.
  • The students have entered a contest with other culinary programs across the country to see whose menu items sell best over the next two months.
  • In order to help market their menu items, Fuzzy's has created a competition with the PTAs closest to the Fuzzy's on Bryant Irvin (RHE, JT Stevens and Benbrook) going on now through March 18, 2018.
  • Every time someone orders from the KidsFit Menu and mentions the name of their school, $1 will be donated to that school. This includes dine in and take out.
  • The customer will be given a card to put in one of three clear boxes with the school’s logo. This will identify which school they are representing.
  • The PTA purchasing the most KidsFit menu items during the four-month period will have a complimentary teacher appreciation lunch catered by Fuzzy's.
  • Everyone wins!
  • Every meal purchased with the designated PTA will result in the PTA receiving $1.
  • The winning school's teachers will receive a free lunch.
  • The students at SHHS will increase their chances to win this national competition.
  • And most importantly, our kids will learn how to make healthier choices.
Reminder: Friday, Feb. 2, is a Waiver Day – No Students
