RHE & Live Thankfully Food Drive This Week Through Nov. 16

RHE is once again partnering with Live Thankfully to feed families this Thanksgiving. With your help, we will give Thanksgiving dinners and groceries to families in need. These families are adopted through our school and other FWISD schools. Last year, we were able to give 2,500 bags of groceries along with Thanksgiving dinners to more than 600 families in need!

Here is how you can help this year:

Contribute to Our Food Drive Nov. 6-16

·      Bring non-perishable goods to school.

·      We will give incentives throughout the drive to grade levels bringing in the most items.

·      Food items to consider: canned veggies, canned soup, canned meats, boxed potatoes and stuffing, boxed macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, snack pack puddings, crackers, paper goods, etc.

·      Please no glass or breakable items.

·      Cans, plastic and boxed items will be better for bagging and transport.

Out-of-Dress Code Days Benefiting Live Thankfully Campaign This Wednesday, Nov. 8, and Thursday, Nov. 9

·      Purchase out-of-dress code wristbands this Monday, Nov. 6, and Tuesday, Nov. 7, for $3 each to be used on Wednesday, Nov. 8, and Thursday, Nov. 9, and support our Live Thankfully Campaign by helping purchase Thanksgiving meals for families in need.

Attend Party with a Purpose on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 5:30 p.m. Until Everything is Bagged and Loaded on the Trucks

·      Join our school family and those from other participating schools and businesses at Southwest Christian Preparatory Campus to bag groceries for our adopted families.

·      Fort Worth Food Trucks will be present to buy dinner.

·      Face painting, clowns and music will be provided.
