Student Aide

What is Student Aide and how can I help?

Student aide provides assistance in many areas for students at Ridglea Hills and for others in our community who are in need. This gives all our students and their parents an opportunity to give and/or receive help. Currently student aide sponsors these events according to need:

Uniform Drive
Uniforms are collected school wide and are distributed to students who need them. This program will be held at the beginning of the school year. You can donate gently used, clean uniforms and useful school items (i.e., coats, backpacks, belts, etc.) and/or volunteer to work at this drive. This event is held the first month of school.

Canned Food Drive
We collect canned goods for the Tarrant County Food Bank in late fall. Last year, we collected canned goods that helped feed many families in our community. You may donate canned goods and/or volunteer to help collect, count and box canned goods.

Angel Tree
Each December, we give our students and their families the opportunity to provide Christmas gifts for Ridglea Hills families in need. You may anonymously donate gifts listed on the gift tags on the tree or donate money to purchase angel tags not taken off the tree by the deadline.

Volunteering for student aide is worthwhile and rewarding! We will need assistance for all these events. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact your student aide chairperson or our counselor, Mrs. Rogers.
