Walkathon Update
Do you know why Walkathon is SO important to Ridglea Hills Elementary and you? Here are just a few reasons:
1. Walkathon is our largest fundraiser of the year and covers expenses for more than half of the school year!
2. Walkathon means no door-to-door sales needed!
3. Walkathon provided the means for PTA to purchase playground shade structures, Accelerated Reading (AR) Program, Fine Arts Day, Chromebooks for classrooms, books and extracurricular activities just to name a few! We did all that last year alone!

Last week, we raised more than $13,000 for Walkathon, putting us at more than $29,000 and counting!

Thanks to all our Mustang families and sponsors who have already contributed. We’re off to a great start!
  • Congrats to Mrs. Hixon’s class who raised the most money last week and were treated to sweet treats compliments of Edible Ellie. Whose class will raise the most this week?
  • Keep those donations coming, and remember that no donation is too small. Everyone can participate.
  • All information, including forms, is also available on the RHPTA website under Fundraisers/Special Events or click the following link: http://www.rhpta.com/pta/events/walkathon
  • Also, we have made sponsorship easy for guests:
